Move money between your own Citi account and another Citi account outside the UK – in real time.
- First, select Sending Money from your My Citi dashboard. On the new page, click Send Money.
- From the drop-down menu, select Send money using Citi Global Transfers.
- Now choose the From account you want to Send money from. To specify your payee, select from any overseas Citi accounts you’ve added before, or choose to Send money to new payee
- Select the Destination Country where the money will be sent to
- Input Payee name, nickname and To Account number
- Choose between an immediate, future or recurring payment.
- Choose whether to tick the box Would you like to save this payee? to add them to your payee list.
- Please note, when adding a new payee for the first time, you will receive a One Time Password on your Citi registered mobile number that must be entered to complete the transaction.
- Click NEXT to see the details of your transfer instruction.
- Happy? Click CONFIRM for your money to be sent at once
Send Money to an existing payee:
- Select the Send Money tab on the dashboard page.
- Select the Local & Overseas option under Sending Money overlay.
- Select the payee from the list of Citi accounts added before.
- Enter the Amount to be transferred.
- Change the From account from the list of available accounts.
- Tap on the Arrow to move to next page.
- Choose the payment frequency (immediate, future).
- Tap on Pay link to confirm the transfer.
- Tap on Share this transaction if you would like to share the transaction details to the beneficiary.
Send Money to a new payee:
- Select the Send Money tab on the dashboard page.
- Select the Local & Overseas option under Sending Money overlay
- Tap on New payee
- Choose the country, Bank and enter the beneficiary name and Account number.
- Enter the Amount to be transferred.
- Change the From account from the list of available accounts.
- Tap on the Arrow to move to next page.
- Choose the payment frequency (immediate, future).
- To save the payee for future use, choose the SAVE TO PAYEE LIST option.
- Tap on Pay link to confirm the transfer.
- Tap on Share this transaction if you would like to share the transaction details to the beneficiary.
