Reporting fraud?

If someone has authorised a transaction using your banking or personal details without you knowing, this is fraud, and you need to report it immediately.

Before reporting a transaction as fraud, check if it could be genuine. A payment you have made to a merchant may be trading under another name. There could be another cardholder on the account, or a free trial has expired.

If you are ever worried that your online or personal security details may have been compromised or if your Citi Debit Card has been lost or stolen, please contact Citi immediately (available 24 hours, 7 days a week)

Reporting a scam?

A scam is where you are tricked to sending funds to a fraudster, who is intentionally stealing from you without you realising. Fraudsters will scam you by pretending to be people and organisations such as your bank or other businesses, using phone calls, texts and emails that seem convincing.

If you have been a victim of fraud or scam, report immediately to us by calling 0800 00 55 00 and report to Action Police online or over the phone.

If you have received a fraudulent or suspicious email/text – forward to id@citi.com or ukfraud@citi.com

If you have received a phone call and have provided any personal details and have suspicions that it may be fraud, hang up immediately and call Citi Security Team.

If you have any concerns regarding security, please call
