How to use Citi Security Assistant?
How it works:
1. Enable Push Notifications
- Step 1: Log in to the Citi Mobile® UK App.
- Step 2: Select the "Push Notification" icon on the top right
- Step 3: Tap "Enable notifications" to receive important service and marketing alerts
2. Receiving Citi Security Alerts via Push Notifications
- If we identify any suspicious debit card purchases, we will send you a push notification. Tap on the push notification, which will launch the Citi Mobile® UK App.
3. Using Citi Security Assistant
- After tapping the push, follow the instructions to proceed to the next screen to verify the debit card purchases by selecting either of the options
“Yes, I authorised ALL of the transaction(s) listed above”
or “No, I did not authorize one or more of the transaction(s) listed above”
How to stay safe
- We strongly recommend you to enable your push notifications on the Citi Mobile® UK App to stay updated on such important alerts from us via this secure channel, even if you are abroad. You will also need to enable your device notification setting to receive push notifications.
- Download the latest version of the Citi Mobile® UK App and ensure that your push notification is enabled to stay up to date on your servicing and transaction alerts, and important notifications.
